Summary:
Well, I failed my NaNo this year (and 1863 beat me in our war, too. Darn). I honestly think that if an interstate trip hadn't been scheduled for the middle of the month, I could have finished; I still plan to finish this story anyway, as reading over the excerpts only reminds me of how many people (both here and at kashiichan) want to read it. It may take me a while, but it will be completed eventually.
To everyone who left comments and encouraged me, thank you. Even though I didn't finish, it was my first year and I don't think I would have done as much as I did without your support.
